10 Days? You've Got to Be Kidding Me?
Okay, so I'm cleaning out my email. They've been piling up lately and I've decided alot of these newsletters and email subscriptions I have, I no longer enjoy reading or even care about for that matter. So I did what any good digitally astute person would do and clicked unsubscribe at the bottom of the newsletters/emails I no longer wanted. Most worked like a charm and took me to the company's webpage that stated "unsubscribe successful." In a second, I was no longer on their email list. Presto, mission accomplished right?...well not exactly. One company has their emails running through a third party and get a load of the email they sent back to me. 10 days to get me off an electronically generated list when it took only minutes to add me. Get Real! I'm sure there's a filtration process...."emailer wants off, must send to IT dept, then to customer support to figure out why the cust wants off, etc" for 10 days? Something's not right. The company using this 3rd party may want to rethink the need for more research into finding out what their customers really want. The nerve...10 days? They can get a house leveled, built from the ground up in 7 on Extreme Makeover and you're telling me it takes 10 days to click a button to delete my email address. Just my rants.
